about
Often described as "emotionally complex music you can dance to," Ori Aviv's music has its roots in the electronic, new romantic, and post-punk sounds of the 1980s, but with a fresh modern twist.
Having lived in Israel, Los Angeles, Denver, Maui, and now Nashville, Ori's background and varied experiences bring a completely unique approach to songwriting that is impossible to replicate and invites the audience to not just listen but be an active participant.
Ori Aviv has been writing, performing, and recording professionally since he was 16 years old. Notably, he was the lead singer and songwriter of Figureone, KROQ's Best Unsigned Band of 2005, who's hit songs Beautiful Creation and Shadows of Downtown appeared in various feature films. Later, as part of the band Noise Academy, he recorded Into The West (ep) with Producer Lewis Richards (Sublime, Dirty Heads, Matiyahu).
Most recently, Ori has been hard at work on his solo debut album which he aims to release in 2023.
